Longcliffe’s dedicated fleet consists of 30 tractor units and dedicated limestone tanks for pneumatic discharge of our Longcal and Superlon range of speciality calcium carbonates.

By having our own fleet, we have complete traceability of the products carried to previous deliveries. Due to the size of our fleet we aim to operate tanker barrels exclusively for the carriage of either limestone granules or powders. This is particularly important for customers buying finely ground powders and to satisfy our commitment to feed hygiene through our FEMAS accreditation.

Our attention to detail around product integrity means we go one step further and also have a product loading and cleanliness matrix for your peace of mind.

Longcliffe continue to focus on investment and innovation and we are the first company in the UK to have an auto delivery system installed on our tankers. This innovative technology digitally operates the discharging of the product into the customer's silo and is tailored to the reception vessel's specification.

We are also trialling electricy and alternative fuels in our HGVs to support our commitment to reducing the carbon footprint of our business.
