Longcliffe is one of the few independently owned industrial mineral processing companies in the UK. We quarry over one million tonnes of limestone (calcium carbonate) and dolomitic limestone each year.
We have a diverse and comprehensive range of products including specialty high purity calcium carbonate grits and powders, limestone and dolomitic aggregates, agricultural limes and liquid floor screeds.
Calcium Carbonate is an extremely versatile mineral used by manufactures of many everyday items such as glass, plasterboard, concrete, carpet backing, shower trays and animal feeds.

We are working hard to ensure our operations continue to improve in terms of the impact they have on the local environment and community, at the same time as ensuring we are running a successful business.
