I manage the drying, screening and classifying plants, which make numerous products for various animal feeds and industrial customers. We have a team of 12 Processing Operatives with most of them working a rotating shift pattern.
On an average day, I arrive at 6am and review the previous night’s performance & current state of the processes. Then I attend team management briefings to discuss priorities, updates and any challenges that need immediate attention. I coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth interdepartmental workflows. I also get involved in strategic planning of balancing the processes to ensure the efficient functioning of the operational process.
