Superlon

High-purity calcium carbonate powder

Longcliffe’s Brassington Moor quarry in Derbyshire is the home of our Superlon range of ground calcium carbonate (GCC) powders. We process high-purity carboniferous limestone at our facilities, resulting in this exceptionally high-quality fine powder. Our rigorous processing operations include crushing and milling the raw stone before drying and screening for impurities. The resulting product is then milled and classified again, leaving us with our superior Superlon range. Superlon limestone powder is known for its excellent purity and consistency and is available in a variety of grades, making it suitable for numerous applications. Our operations are fully accredited to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 so you can be sure you’re dealing with a company you can trust.
