Longcliffe is committed to a programme of continual improvement in all aspects of the business to maintain and improve its position in the marketplace, to provide a safe working environment and to minimise its effect on the environment, including the prevention of pollution.

IMS Policy Statement

It is the policy of Longcliffe Quarries Limited to produce and supply products of the highest quality and purity in accordance with sound extraction and processing practice, having due regard to all aspects of health and safety of its employees, the impact of its operations on the environment and the competitive market within which the company operates. The company will apply ethical and business practices to ensure that its activities do not involve the abuse, exploitation or harm of any individual or the wider environment. IMS Manual

Longcliffe has produced an IMS manual which provides a formal reference document for employees and provides stakeholders with confirmation of the capability of Longcliffe to supply to their requirements. The IMS manual defines the control systems and programmes to be followed to ensure that this policy is fulfilled. It is written in accordance with the requirements of the following standards:
